The Wacky Loli Adventures of Sasa Sally!

September 10, 2011 in Otaku, Short Thoughts

Coming never… ComiPo! is a really funny program that kind of takes all the work and worth out of making manga. For that reason I may mess around with the full version that’s coming out next week and if you’re lucky you’ll see more of Sasa Sally’s lesbian love making adventures. Check out the Yuu Asakawa voiced Engrish PV to learn more about it.

Watch out! It’s Weeabro Dinner Night!

September 10, 2011 in Otaku

I said I’d stop eating calamari but it’s just too hard to resist. Anyway September 8th was a very special day for me, well besides being the day my PS3 decided to kick the bucket. It was of course my birthday! And this year I decided to call up some suspicious otaku and a Jew to dinner at a Japanese sushi joint. The restaurant in particular was Kobachi Izakaya Dining who have always had just about the best quality and most authentic Japanese cuisine in town. Unfortunately we kind of got stuck with a bad draw and the service that night was pretty crappy but at least the food (of which wasn’t mysteriously out of stock) was great and the two liters of Asahi beer kept me happy.

Club shrine-write! We’ve got Luck! We’ve got Sake! We’ve got Updates!

September 6, 2011 in Short Thoughts

Success! Well, I lied about the sake. And I guess the luck too. But we do have updates! And yeah I’ve really stooped to making IOSYS references, sorry. But as you can tell I’ve made good use of the Labor Day holiday weekend to do some renovating around here kicking off especially with a new theme. Some functions are still not entirely operational but I’ll be progressively cleaning those up. What matters though is I can finally get back to blogging since I was in a bit of a slump where I had no desire to write about anything without a change of scenery of sort. Fall season is pretty hot for anime and a lot of fighting games are on the radar so expect more miscellaneous weeaboo and fighting game related ramblings for the next season or two until I get bored of this theme. Lastly I do most of the theme changes and designing through experimentation and trial and error so if you encounter any irregularities then please let me know however you can. Oh and the new Staff Power Levels page might be amusing to check out ww. Catch you next time, I’ll Marble Phantasm into your heart! (゚∀゚)

Melty Flood Act 01 – Shiki, Arc, Ciel, Sion, Roa

August 14, 2011 in Fighting Game, Post Series

Here’s yet another new series of posts even though nobody bothers reading the fighting game related articles on this blog. Why do I bother doing it? I dunno really. I mean it’s either that or watch Smoky Thrill a couple more times and while that’s certainly a Sunday night I wouldn’t mind spending I think I should buckle up and just go with it. So here we go, the Melty Flood series. I asked braindead to help think of a name so blame him if you don’t like it. So anyway, here’s what I’m gonna do. MBAACC ver.107 is hitting the PC at the very end of this year. I’m gonna take every character that’s going to be in the game (31 confirmed for now) and write up a little introduction to each and every one of them including all 3 separate Moon Styles. If you’re completely new to MBAA and don’t know what the Moon Styles are, they were a systematic change in which each character was given 3 different playable versions which the player gets to select before the match. That’s essentially 93 different characters I’m covering so you’re probably asking why am I doing what seems to be so daunting. Well it’s very simple. The Melty Blood series is of course my favorite fighting game series and it holds a very special place in my heart, so I feel the least I can do is introduce more people to the series and help them get started so what better to do that with than Melty Flood? Great, got it? Let’s dance.
