Go ahead and grab the latest Big Bang Beat 2nd test on Frontier Aja’s official site here. I won’t run through Big Bang Beat’s history but as far as the many doozin fighters I’ve played goes, BBB 1st Impression was one of the more remarkable titles. Of course we have a different team in charge of BBB 2nd which you can tell from the taste of this web version, but it’s still looking like Frontier Aja is fully capable of bringing us yet another great 2D doujin fighter. Hopefully this time, without the version updates.

For the past couple days I’ve been raving nonstop about the fact that I’m entering SoCal Regionals, one of is not the biggest fighting game tournament hosted in the southern California region. I’ll specifically be entering the Blazblue Continuum Shift tournament but will most likely be spectating some of the other games as well. Aksys is sponsoring the event and will have their own booth set up so I’ll be sure to run by for some freebies (pictures shall be taken).

I feel I’ve an okay shot at the BBCS tourney, I doubt I’ll make top 4 or anything but I feel I have a good chance of not losing in the first round to scrubbiness. Perhaps I should knock on wood. (´Д｀；） Either way this will be a great opportunity to further experience and grasp the tournament atmosphere so win or lose I’m not coming back empty handed (especially if Aksys is willing to sell me Deathsmiles on sale!). And if you’re lucky you’ll be able to catch me on stream! The event lasts November 5-7, Friday-Sunday. I’ll be there Saturday and if by some stroke of miracles Sunday if I’d make finals.

In other news, I have just pre-ordered Arcana Heart 3 off amiami. I’m terribly excited about the game and I’ve a gut feeling a localized release won’t be seen for quite some time so why not get a preemptive start? And while I’m at it I even went ahead and ordered the limited edition for a measly 2000 extra yen. How I will have dinner next month I can’t figure out either, but at least amiami doesn’t charge until it is shipped in January!

And finally, I figure now’s a good time as ever to launch my Twitter account. I originally created it for the sole purpose of following Saber’s official Twitter account during last April Fool’s Day. Type-Moon allowed me a day of paradise and what was left over is this account, so I may as well put it to use. So if you wish yourself +1 follower, feel free to help me get started and tweet me up!

Just a quick layout change, Fate/dream reader is now it’s own separate page and I spirited away the Projects page since I don’t get anything done anyway. ┐(￣ー￣)┌ Two new sketches added and just further making note that progress is going well. At this rate I might really be able to make my planned winter release!

Further construction the F/dr page will continue and hopefully I’ll finally have a legitimate page up for it soon. I’ve been pretty secretive about the concept sketches of various characters but you can probably tell who the lovely-chan above is easily if you followed the old F/DR, only this time she’s in a new garb and wielding twice the amount of swords. As for the new guy…

Spreading word of the work-in-progress doujin fighting game, Wonderful World. Wonderful World is essentially to Guilty Gear as Vanguard Princess is to Super Turbo. As is Vanguard Princess, Wonderful World is shaping up to be an excellent game. And just like Vanguard Princess the game is free and works with the LunaPort netplay client.
